Glitches Help

Hope you don't mind me posting about these two glitches, I just can't seem to do them.

I can't find the door with this one. I don't really know where to start.

<i>
Getting to the Cavern in the NE Surdana Territory without Arokh
If you get into the NE territory without Arokh, you can find a cliff face with a seemingly inaccessible door. However, you don't need Arokh to get there. Simply head up the hill to the right of the cliff, and hang a left completely around the back of the cliff until you reach another cliff overlooking the ledge. SAVE YOUR GAME. Now look down, and you will see that a part of the cliff remains at a "straight" angle, while another makes a sudden dip into the ledge. Slide down the cliff from the top near where it becomes a "straight" angle, but where it still makes the dip. If you jump exactly at (or a little before or after, if your timing is off) you will hop harmlessly off the cliff onto the ledge, allowing you access to the cavern door.

and despite reading a few different versions of the Valley warp glitch and after alot of tries im still having difficulty landing Arokh. I can get him through the floor behind the gate at the top but he gets stuck and you can't go any further. Does it have to be behind it at the top in that tiny gap? Or am I in the wrong place completely?

Thanks!

Ria, have you found the location Aneurysma mentioned? It's just over the hill on the map from that little area holding the Mushroom caves and the mean old lady's house. Look at your map and draw an imaginary line from the Giant Chicken cave to the Mushroom cave. Just before the little bowl-like valley where the old lady lives there are two caves. One has a few Grull and another nearby has Wartoks and a couple of spiders.
The one you are curious about is the Wartok cave. If you can find it with Arokh, you just land on a little raised area in front of it's entrance, but if you don't have Arokh, you have to be creative to get there. If you're coming out of the Grull cave, looking forward you'll see a hill directly in front and slightly left of you. Go around the right side of this hill and soon you'll be looking down at the area in front of the cave door.
This is the tricky part, but it's not that difficult.
It's a simple technique called a slide jump. Walk, don't jump Rynn off the edge of the cliff face just over the platform you wanna land on and begin sliding down the hill. Jump just before the bottom and ideally Rynn will hop into the air and come down as if shed hopped from level ground. That way, you can live through jumps which would otherwise kill her.
Saving before you try the slide jump is strongly advised!

OOPS! Forgot you asked about the Valley Warp thingie.
I try from the highest snowy gap above the entrance to the Valley from Surdana (obviously).
Well... if you're already getting through, you're doing something right. When the strafe reversal is taking you through the mountain face, you need to end up free of the pull back to the outside. Try flying a little further out before landing. It's a cool area. If you glitch into the area again after doing the Warp, you won't get the cutscene and can walk around back there. There isn't much to see except the massive hinges the doors are hung on.

Seems I was in the completely wrong place for the first one! Thanks so much for your reply. I will try both of these later and get back to you. I appreciate the help! :)

I managed both at last. I have never found any of these caves before (thats why I was more confused). I haven't explored as much as I should of it seems. I first got there ok with Arokh and then tried on my own. I was lucky, jumped neatly on the platform on first attempt :)

The valley one I was in the wrong place too. I was literally on the bottom surrounding (behind the actual building) which is where I went wrong. Arokh managed to sit on it there eventually, but also sat through the brick bit, heh. Anyway, I went to the snow bit, landed fine and after a few minutes he went through perfectly. I decided to try it again and it took me 20 minutes that time to get right, but I got through by turning Arokh around a bit.

Thanks for the help again. I must say I was disappointed by the first to find it was only a cave opening. I was expecting a weird door by the way she explained it.
