Mersil from the Severance / Blade of Darkness forum posted some info on the game 'Gothic.' I haven't heard of it before but it looks like a great game. There's no dragons though but its a epic RPG / action hybrid that has amazing graphics.
Be warned though, you will need a high end PC (think P3 1Ghz and Geforce2)
