I enjoyed Order Of The Flame much beter, the locations and had a much less fake feel to them, The hugeness of the southern isles compared to the andralian isles for example.. You get the theives cave and alwarren exchanged for a rather boring crystal mine..
All in all though, I did enjoy TAG even if not as much, it's still Drakan and the player models were much beter arather than OOTFs arokh model which could have had a little beter teture to it than the pale melted neckscale look... The storyline was quite involving aswell, with a fair few distractions, like caves to explore and suchlike, I think the only real letdown of this game is that the ending for me was quite unsatisfying, and, being on PS2 it lacked any real ability to modify and create things, like you can with the editing tools with OOTF.. .. and just don't get me started with the weapon system.. I want my broken sword back :<
OOTF was a good game, I think mainly with it's audio, and larger, more involving areas, interesting landscapes. where TAG had ones that were too rich. The weapon system was fairly good, and the combat was more ineresting, in addition to being able to select difficulty levels..
The ending in this one opened it up alittle more though, instead of just telling you everything was okay but there will allways be evil, something to that effect. Perhaps if another game is ever made we will see Navros again (though I doubt sony would think is a viable enough game to generate any decent revenue) .. And a final note, I think ryn and arokh portray emotion much beter in this game, since TAG is kind of just "this is what I need to do, this is how I do it"
.. Brek the armourer only marginally makes up for no chopping off wartoks heads and blood splatters :<
