SPECIAL NOTE: Any similarities to other maps are purely coincidental and not intended to be a copy or duplication of the works of other level editors. I understand the hard work involved in creating level maps and would not want to diminish the work of others. This being said, the level editor, Naelyn (a.k.a. Sirus), who created the map "Days of Glory" (an excellent map) has requested that I explicitly indicate that there is no relation whatsoever between the "Saulkaros" map series and "Days of Glory." I would state further that this disclaimer applies to ALL level maps available.

For those of you who downloaded Saulkaros and have experienced constant crashes in Multiplayer with other players present I offer my most profound apologies. Saulkaros offers many special effects at the price of stability. As you all know a game with a million special effects that crashes all the time is not much fun. So to make the map a little more fun and a lot less aggrevating, here's the changes I've made in this revision.
All the levels are preceded by the letter "R" (i.e. RSKS Teleport Gate Ruins, etc.) Important to remember when doing a level change.

The "Level Properties" error you see at the start of each map is unavoidable. According to the details of the 445 patch, this error will no longer show once the 445 patch is installed. I noted that many players (including myself) found it VERY irritating to type "debug off" all the time or clear. So I await the 445 patch with great anxiousness

I've decided to remove most of the explosions from all 5 of the maps. No Poison gas, no fire balls, and no Freezing (Except for the Clone weapon, Ghosts, and Small Spiders). This now means that the Stone Head no longer attacks, the Stone Monks don't explode if attacked, the flying undead no longer attack, and the Giant Spider no longer attacks.

There's a time limit on the Wartok Generator. Kill as many monsters at a generator because once it's opened the clock is ticking and you and the other players lose a chance at crystals.

To compensate for the time limit on the Wartok Generator, each creature has more of a chance of producing more crystals/money. The trick is to pick up the crystals as quickly as possible.

Force Fields are replaced with regular cages. Although you still have to pay for items this now means that you can take an item that another player buys or another player can take an item that you buy. The 445 patch has a better way of spending money and I plan to use it in my next map.

Ranged weapons were removed from the Teleport Gate Ruins due to crashes it produced.

THE TELEPORTERS STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO CRASH DRAKAN!! So if you host the map it's a very good idea to host the map from the Dedicated Server Option. Remember if the host crashes ... everyone crashes.

Life drain on all teleport wands reduced by half. In the case of the Short range teleport wand the drain was reduced to 5 hit points per teleport. Players can use the teleport more often now.

Changes to Seneca's Tomb Map
More Health Crystals for players

Provided the Suicide Drink in case players get stuck in a teleport. Players must pick up the drink if they wish to use it. If a player gets stuck in a teleport, use the ranged weapon in the tomb to shoot the player down. Dead players easily respawn but players that get stuck would have to rejoin or get kicked or *gibbed by the Hosting player/Server Administrator. IF YOU ARE THE HOST DON'T GET STUCK IN TELEPORT! Avoid the corners of the map ... these are the typical places that players get stuck while teleporting.
*(445 patch only)

Changes to Cemetery
Flying undead no longer attack.

Seneca still kills flying undead if she's released properly from the force field. The Freeze explosions from the Ghosts are ground based. So it doesn't matter how high a ghost is in the air. If a ghost is killed in the air it's freeze explosion still happens on the ground below it. REMEMBER: Seneca kills ALL of the flying undead ... that's a lot of Ghosts EXPLODING at one time! To avoid having Seneca kill the undead use the floor switch on the map and DON"T attack the Violet/Red Headstone.

Headstones still produce undead if players attack a headstone.

Ghosts still freeze if players kill one.

These are all the changes that I've made to these levels. The first version of Saulkaros should still work in Single Player mode or Multiplayer Mode with one player. Again, I thank you all for your patience in dealing with the challenges presented here.
