So, the problem is with your PC operational system ?
Right ? Check all DirectInput tests in DirectX diag-
nostic system - dxdiag.exe . What is your mouse sen-
sitivity, which are set by the WindowsXP ? Also, there
is a little tuning for mouse inside Blade's menu. Does
your Blade game run at a normal game speed ? Is there
any speed mod installed ?
Do you use USB interfaced mouse or usual serial one ?
Try all of it, this deal is not mortal.

It may be related to vsync make sure vsync is enabled in your graphics card options. Run all of the dxdiag tests and look out for any failures.

Do you have any kind of mouse software running in the system tray? Are you sure vsync is enabled? Also test the game with the OpenGL render to see if the problem persists.

Do you have any odd mouse thing with any other pro-
gram ? Do you have a complex mouse device ? USB con-
nected or infrared connected ? Blade is a usual
Direct Input 7 application and there were no problems
before.
But are there mouse problems ? Does your game run at a nor-
mal speed ?

If you have any mouse-related software running, turn it off.
If your current mouse is USB try a serial mouse.
Try running the game in windowed mode.
Try running the game in different resolutions.
Try installing DirectX from BoD disk.
Try running BoD in different compatibility modes : win98, 95 or NT
